How it works

The Student of the Year Award is an initiative aimed at recognising, encouraging and rewarding student excellence at and beyond the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Amsterdam.

Pre-selection has now finished and the voting began. As a student of the University of Amsterdam, you can vote for your favorite candidate here.

The award and nomination procedure is simple:

  • Candidates fill in a short application form (before May 7).

  • Two boards make the initial screening.

  • Five candidates are selected (May 15).

  • Students vote for the candidates.

  • One student will win the Student of the Year Award! (June 20)

  • Student of the Year wins a vacation to any destination around the world!*

Pre-selection for the Student of the Year Award covers three main criteria: academic, work, and social. We believe that being a student does not solely mean getting the best grade or partying the hardest. Being a student is also how much effort you make to contribute to the community, student welfare and society as a whole. We’re sure that you have what it takes to become the FEB Student of the Year 2012 and we would like to reward you for it!
